Literature Text

I feel healed wounds re-opening
When you bring that up.
Like salt slipping in the cuts
Hurting and stinging as each one dissolves.
Your words are harsh ad piercing
My very heart and soul.
I can not stand it any longer
Just stop the words from hurting.
The blood slips down your worded dagger.
Stabbing into me with each brought up memory.
Ending it all with the blink of an eye
as puncturing slowly into my dark-filled heart.
Red formed liquid slipping down my neck
as your words peirce my very soul that once was so deprived.
Your words have heart my life, your words have broken me.
All i say is one last word that describes my life to you
Dead.
This poem was written when a friend brought up a horrible past. One i wish to never speak of again.
